Asparagus Almond Mold Salad
2 cans asparagus1 c. hot liquid1 tbsp. gelatin dissolved in 1/4 c.cold water1/2 c. mayonnaise1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped1 tsp. salt2 tbsp. lemon juice1 c. slivered almonds
Instructions
Heat liquid from canned asparagus and pour over dissolved gelatin. When partially set, fold in mayonnaise, whipped cream, salt, lemon juice. Add asparagus and almonds. Pour into mold and congeal. Serve with mayonnaise whipped with a little lemon juice.
